To Whom It May Concern:
We, The Stockyard, are an entertainment venue in southeast Iowa,
promoting live music and comedy. We have had the privilege of
hosting such great acts as; James Otto, Danielle Peck, Lee Brice,
countless Iowa and Midwest bands as well as a number of national
comedy acts. With that being said we have not hosted a better
act than Iowa’s own Lockren.
Lockren not only puts on a high energy show, they are professional
in everything they do. Their sound and lights are second to
none. They are timely in all they do, set-up, breaks, and tear
down.
As the front person of the band, Amanda, is all that and then
some. She’s a fireball on stage, gets the crowd into every
song and joins them on the dance floor when Jon or Jim take
over vocals.
If your looking for a Country / Classic Rock band look no further,
Lockren is as good as it gets.

Lockren played for our “Downtown Getdown”
concerts in City Square Park located in the heart of uptown
Marion, Iowa on Thursday, August 9, 2007. The band was fabulous
and the crowd loved them.
We sang along to a vast genre of music from their signature
Southern Rock with tunes from the Dixie Chicks, Shania Twain
and Johnny Cash to the Rock and Roll of Joan Jett, Eric Clapton
or Bob Segar. They included a little bit of everything for everyone.
I was especially pleased to see how the band interacted with
our crowd. Fans were encouraged to pick up photographs and have
them signed by band members during breaks. It was almost a chore
to pull the fans away so the band could resume playing. They
loved it!!!!
This band not only is a great show but is also great to work
with. I would recommend them for your event.
