So y'all want to know a little bit about me? Alright...

I suppose I could let ya in on what makes me "me." I grew up in a town called Oakland, Iowa. One night I was watching an episode of "the wonder years" and saw Fred Savage decide to learn to play guitar and he got a girl because of it. I told myself... If Fred Savage can do it...so can I! So I grabbed my brothers Yamaha POS guitar and started playin until my fingers bled. I'd jam with friends now and then and just liked havin fun. My first real gig was a band my brother and I started named "the Frey"... yeah... long before the band that's around now. I shoulda sued. Ha. Anyways... that was fun and we released 2 cd's. But we were going nowhere and for one reason or another we stopped.

A few years passed and My brother Gene and I decided to form another band. It was called Lovetap. We released a few cd's and shot a few videos and had a helluva good time with all original music. We were around for about 6 years. Had the chance to play some real sweet shows. Opened for Joan Jett, The Bacon Brothers (Keven Bacon), Roger Klein and the Peacemakers, Better than Ezra, The Doors' Robby Krieger, the Nadas and a ton of other cool cats. When that gig ended I decided to move to Iowa City a few years back and have been toyin' around here taking in all the various music motifs and figurin out what I wanted to do. And then one day I started talkin to this band called Lockren... I was pretty F'n impressed! So I met with them and we all seemed to get along really well. I had never played Country music before but I really thought this was gonna a sweet gig. So here I am... bringin a lil' bit of punk-pop to the scene... hope ya'll dont mind!
